We ate & drank here a few times whilst visiting Hamble recently. We came for the HSB which was well kept, served at a good temperature & delicious. There were also 3 other ales which were all good but we kept returning for HSB. We had a lunch and a dinner here & food was good pub grub, tasty & hot b
Wow, the service here is stunning. The food was so good we ate here 2 nights in a row. It was lovely. Thank you for your patience with our party of 8! It was worth the visit.
Excellent food in a lovely pub with great service. All of the starters were excellent but especially the prawns which were succulent and fresh. We all had different fish dishes for main courses which again were very fresh and flavoured very well. Also very generous portions. One of the best pubs for
Food was nice but pricey. Service was good but sparse. It wasn't even busy yet Food service was very slow. I understand this is an award winning dining experience, I would have to say that they are not living up to that standard at the moment. Salad was missing a few items and brownies were far too
Wow 1st time eating food here. The food was amazing value for money and tasted fantastic. The staff are friendly and there was a great atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table. Would highly recommend and will be eating there again!
Nice older location with a warm, inviting interior. The staff were friendly and were good at chatting. Service was prompt and my food came out quickly. Didn't have time to partake in a full meal but I did enjoy my Whitebait which also was the first time I've tried the dish. It was quite tasty and I
A lovely spot in Hamble, just a short walk from the river. It was our first visit to the pub, despite having been to Hamble many times over the years, and we really enjoyed our food. The staff were friendly and there was an excellent selection in terms of both food and drink. We shall return.
A beautiful and quirky pub with an amazing atmosphere. The food and drink was also really great. Overall they made our visit really special.
Excellent food and quality of service, much recommended!
Friendly and cozy atmosphere makes the Whyte Harte staff a great classic pub. Worth checking out garden and potting shed which have been transformed for summer. For food, delicious roasts on Sunday and quick supper of fajitas earlier in the week.
We popped in on the off chance to see if they had any tables , they were lovely they did accommodate us and warned us we may have a wait for food which we accepted but to be fair we didn't wait too long we had fish and chips , was lovely and staff were good and service was good to.
Lovely, cosy atmosphere. Friendly and helpful pub staff, great food. Will definitely be visiting again!
Wonderful quaint popular pub. Staff were lovely as was the food. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely meal there the other day. Food was top-notch and a nice cold couple of beers to wash it down
With an open fire burning brightly, 2 PM on a Saturday afternoon with a pint of well kept HSB in hand, this was the place to be on a cold crisp day. Many locals gathered in this cosy, dark pub chatting away. We met a little Jack Russell and his owner so this pub is dog friendly. Worth visiting.
Great pub with real ale and delicious food. Within walking distance of the Hamble estuary
Absolutely wonderful! We were a party of six and were well looked after from start to finish. We each enjoyed a main course and a dessert. Main courses were fish pie (with fennel in and just the right amount), lamb cooked to perfection, an amazing and very generous pie along with two huge and tasty
