Great menu choice for kids with lovely pancake and luxury hot chocolate. Had a delicious bagel with avo and bacon. Staff were delightful and a great atmosphere and retro feel.
We went for the afternoon tea. The staff were brilliant. There is one toilet, but it's a small space so can't imagine much queuing happens. The toilet was clean. I loved the cute decorations. I was disappointment that you don't automatically get a mixture of sandwiches. You select one from a list per person. So if there's only two of you, then there's not much of a variety. For four of us, we got 3 sandwich pieces each. The scones were delicious and the little teacups used for cream and jam is a lovely touch. Same as sandwiches, you get one choice of dessert from what is on the counter. The size you receive is very reasonable. You get one hot drink from the selection. I got the luxury hot chocolate and was very happy with it.
Very nice place. A little gem. Friendly service, good food. We'll come back
Adorable, quaint little tea room. We were here during Oct half term at 2:15 pm & the place was packed! We had afternoon tea with our 6 year old twins (they had the Halloween Afternoon Tea which was so cute ☺️). We booked a table easily with Roz using Facebook messenger. She sent a link to pay the 50% booking deposit online.. all very quick & straightforward!
It’s right around the corner from my mother in law’s house so we will be back when we come to visit!
I visited yesterday for afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and the quality of the food and drink was great. The scones were light and fresh. The cake was moist and tasty but not stodgy. The coffee was very good.
The place had a good atmosphere and was well decorated. They're on a busy-ish road, and perhaps it would be better if they had a quieter, more picturesque location, but it's not a major problem.
I'd highly recommend a visit.
A. Delightful tea room, where I had a superb cup of English breakfast tea and the whole famy really enjoyed their food. I had coronation chicken, my wife pancakes and my daughter scones and cake. They were all of the highest quality and the service was friendly and efficient. A bit more expensive than a regular cafe, but well worth it.
Popped in for a takeaway coffee - which was superb. Bought a couple of cakes - the Coffee and Walnut and Rocky Road - absolutely delicious.
Will defo go back - the team were so nice and friendly.
Beautiful setting, lovely afternoon tea, very accommodating, lovely staff. Would 100% recommend. Will be back thank you so much xx
This is an absolute gem of a place! It’s always busy which shows it’s good. We popped in yesterday for a quick bite, they were very busy but squeezed us in, a great bacon and egg bagel and smoked salmon bagel were had along with tea and coffee. We couldn’t leave without taking a slice of cake home with us either. Absolutely delicious! Friendly and courteous staff, we really should visit more often.
