It was my first visit to the restaurant last night to celebrate my Pre 40th Birthday!! The restaurant is lovely and quaint! Went for the 8 Course option with wine flight...Food was delicious! My favourite dish was the Squab Pigeon & Lamb!!! Staff were very welcoming and friendly! Only thing that I would suggest, is that some Petit fours would of finished the meal of nicely!!!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future!! Asked for a signed menu as a little keep sake for my 40th and Chef Scott Goss, signed it...."To Feed you, is to Love you" Which I thought was lovely!!! Wish him luck for The Great British Menu!!!

My girlfriend booked a table for 2 on a Wednesday night even thinking it could be a bit lacking in atmosphere. Not even close. The layout, the ambience, the food, service, wine, everything was spot on. We were spoilt by having the same exceptional waiter that served us at the Beacon for New Years, his name is Mike and he can't do enough for you. Great place glued together by great people! 5⭐️

Sophisticated restaurants are jaunts that I rarely inhabit. The Twenty Six exudes swank. A diminutive sized interior enthrals the senses. I loved the jam jar lighting, spiral staircase and humble fireplace. The menu is fine too, a small but interesting selection. Food is served humbly, dishes are masterfully prepared with care. Each dish tasted wonderful; flavours were delicate, yet bustling. It’s how fine dining should be, relaxed, considerate and not over engineered. The Twenty Six, with its plethora of candles is a romantic venue for lovers of food and life.

Cosy restaurant with memorable food. A warm welcome helped by a log burning fire kicked off a great food experience. The 5 course menu gave a range of flavours each with a twist. Ever had rotten apple purée? Have now. Duck heart sausage...so good even my slightly squeamish wife liked it. This was topped off by the most intriguing dusted chocolate stones filled with a beetroot ice cream....so pretty I forgot to take a photo (chef, can you help?). I'll keep watching to see when the next season's menu is out, I'll be back.

The food is definitely interesting and exciting and the atmosphere is cozy and modern. Definitely worth a adding to your rotation of better resturants in the area. The one negative is the portion control is a little off base. Some dishes are plates full of deliciousness and some are significantly smaller and require sides but its hard to tell from the menu.

A very special place with each piece of the dining experience puzzle neatly in place. Lovely atmosphere, cosy and inviting. Friendly staff who are attentive and very knowledgeable about both wine and food. The food was sublime. Very complex flavours combined with skill and expertise. The menu is adventurous and bold with come classic crowd pleasers. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

If you want a food experience with one of the most beautiful chefs going, this is the place for you! Scott and his team make no apologies because they don’t need to... seriously thank you for an incredible night and tailored dining experience.

Food is delicious, brunch menu had both fairly standard items and really different options, which were super tasty. Really busy at weekends. Staff were friendly.

Absolutely amazing Christmas day lunch. The chef was absolutely brilliant with a real personal touch bringing the food to the table himself explaining each course and how each dish was prepared and its origin. Would definitely recommend this restaurant

An excellent restaurant with a delightful menu to tantalise the taste buds. Refreshments are broad and bring some great tastes to the pallet. Service excellent and the chef is highly commendable for what he delivers to the table.
