A warm and friendly welcome in this clean and well run café. So glad that I needed to make a detour off the high street, so found this place, which thankfully means I now know where to head for future lunches when visiting Southend. A good range of food, customised and made to order, which I accompanied with a really tasty smoothie.
I bit more than a corner cafe. My sandwich wasn't the best but was more than "ok". Good range of Vegan options, well priced.

I dined at Maxwells with my girlfriend. We ordered the Ham + Cheese Panini, Bacon Ciabatta, Scrambled Eggs, Oreo Milkshake and a Latte. The food was excellent, the staff were wonderful and the service was super fast! Would definitely recommend.
