This cafe is close to the pier. It is clean, bright, and has a great view of the sea. The staff were friendly and chatty. The coffee was good and the cake was delicious. The prices were remarkably good for the location.

First time visit, nice atmosphere, clean and bright. lovely staff. Food was nice, I would've preferred back bacon to streaky on my brekkie, but that's my personal preference. Thanks for a lovely Sunday morning treat.

I totally enjoyed this breakfast. We ordered a cappuccino, a latte, eggs Benedict, eggs royale on a muffin. The eggs Benedict with bacon were excellent. The eggs were done perfectly, with only the yolk runny. The bacon was endless and the kind I love. Thinly sliced. The hollandaise sauce was also very good. The service was good, letting us know we had a bit of a wait, but it wasn't long. The cafe looked clean and presentable. It's known for big bagel sandwiches.

Regular brunch and lunch haunt for us in Southend. Great coffee and bagels with a wide choice of fillings. Friendly staff and always a warm welcome. Semi hidden gem on Southend sea front.

Attic was really clean and well kept. The staff are great, attentive but not too much and relaxed. The food is well above the average cafe fare with a reassuringly small menu. We ordered one children's dish, 2 large bagels, one full English and an eggs royale and assorted teas, coffees and fruit juices. Without anything being said the kitchen sent out two more poached eggs for the eggs royale as they hadn't been happy with the original eggs. 😀

One of my favourite places to take my dog to for breakfast on a Sunday. Eggs Royale for me; delicious; and sausage for doggo. Relaxed atmosphere and all of the staff are super friendly.
