We had chicken takeaway and not only was fantastic, it was also half the price of Chinese and Indian. £10 each for a great big beautifully cooked meal. Load of chicken. Highly recommended
Jerk chicken is WOW REALLY, the meat is tender just falling of the bone Chicken and Lamb paties ( the meat inside is just so real ), big portions...My first time all the way from Billericay but it was definetly worth it...looking forward to try other dishes...

Jerk island grill catered for our event for around 35 people. We were really pleased with the service and portions. The food was 10/10, really tasty and authentic. Best local restaurant in Southend in my opinion! Any issues or questions were handled really well

I had a birthday party for fifty guests. Before placing my order I wanted to make sure we would be happy with the food. I ordered some food that arrived hot tasty, and delicious so had no hesitation in placing the order for the party.
I spoke with a man named Keon he was very helpful and professional and listened to what I wanted. A few of my guests are vegetarian, so needed a vegetarian option which wasn't a problem. I also had to change the date and amend the options several times which again wasn't an issue.
On the day of the party, the driver arrived with the food he was friendly polite and professional, and the food was hot.
The food was outstanding my guests said it was the best they had tasted we ordered the following items:
Rice and Peas, Jerk Chicken, Beef Patties, Chicken Patties, Vegetarian Patties, Festival, Vegetarian Curry, Coleslaw, Steam Vegetables, Plantains, Mac Cheese, Apple Pie, Caribbean Cake, Rum Punch,
My guests couldn't stop raving about it and were praying they would be able to take food back with them. Hahaha…..

The Smoke Flavour coming of the Jerk chicken is so good 💨 You can literally smell it as soon as you pop lid off! By far best Jerk chicken I have Tried 🍗
BBQ Jerk Burger is unreal and chips are nice and lightly salted 🍟
The jerk chicken was tender, juicy and had a lovely smokey savoury flavour- so good! The curried goat was also tender and really flavourful. Delivery was on point too. The mac and cheese could have a bit more seasonings though, but nevertheless it was all really good and Halal too!

Went there for the first time today, this is the best jerk chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce is to die for… the rice is perfect and it just absolutely slaps! Boss man even threw in a free rice aswel 😅.
Yea they take a bit long to come but you can’t rush perfection… It’s 100% worth the wait. Can not recommend enough!!
