We had Fresh salad with Goats cheese and it was a great brunch. Quantity was good and a big cuppa cappuccino helped.

Lovely cafe. Very friendly and great food. Not forgetting proper tea in bucket size teapots. Good start to the day after a train journey from London. Highly recommend.
Extremely good breakfast. I can even say their vegetarian option could be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Their portions are generous, and the pot of tea is plentiful. An absolute must-visit for breakfast.

An absolute joy of a place to visit. We enjoyed afternoon tea and scones, but this place offers a quite wide menu. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Service was excellent, prices competitive and food quality good. Thoroughly recommended.

When I look for the place to eat or have a drink I always aim for something unique and privately (family) owned. This place is so lovely. It’s nicely decorated and has such comfortable sofas at the window. The service is excellent and they also had a great selection of cakes on the day. Will be back

Went with my partner about a week ago for breakfast and it was fantastic. The food and tea were both great and the atmosphere is very charming and relaxing. Will definitely be back to try the different tea on the menu.
This is the best tea shop in town! I really enjoyed my earl grey together with some scones and marmelade. Also their sandwiches are delicious. The must go for tea time.
This tea shop is an absolute delight. You can imagine being out in a country village tea shop. There are paintings on the walls which really give this place a country feel. And yet this tea shop is in the heart of southend.
