This was our first time here and noticed that the service we received was as excellent and equal to those returning. The food was fresh and delicious with excellent customer service. The staff friendly and attentive and exceptionally helpful based on the amount of specific special requests they had. Will definitely be returning!!!

We hired the Sunflower Eaterie in the evening for my husbands 30th birthday party. It's a great venue for a party! The buffet food was fantastic quality and there was lots of it! The staff are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure it was an excellent evening. I'd highly recommend the Sunflower Eaterie as a venue.

Have been coming here since 2009. Always a lovely atmosphere and incredible food. Owners Michelle and Scott take the time to get to know every customer which makes you feel valued and definitely want to return. Prices are really reasonable and all food is home made. What more could you ask for.
My friend stumbled on this little gem a couple of weeks ago so took me along for coffee. Last was friendly, nice bright clean interior and would definately go back there. Home made cake was lovely, so big I took half of it home in a napkin. They also do a home made roast lunch which I hope to try out soon.

Absolute gem! Not far from the high st, it’s worth the short walk to visit here. Great food, excellent kids menu - a sandwich with mini cheddars, crudités, fruit and squash - perfect. The staff were really friendly too. Didn’t have any but the cakes looked really tasty - one for next time.
Had the breakfast. I am well known as a very fussy eater. The breakfast was served on a pre heated plate. You know when you are heading for a bad one when the dreaded catering sausage makes a very unwelcome appearance. Pleased too say this was proper old banger. It was all fantastic. Bacon mushrooms excellent, and the scrambled egg was sent from heaven. The staff and the owner were all lovely.
This is the best breakfast in Southend and good luck to all the staff at the amazing Sunflower.

Went here for my Mum's birthday lovely place serves great tea and coffee. The cakes and sandwiches were very well made and the lady who served us was polite and friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. Nice and quiet if you want a relaxing afternoon tea or coffee 5/5 place would highly recommend:)
It's a quiet and relaxing restaurant, more towards the elderly consumers but still open to everyone. The menu is simple but nice to have a bite to eat locally. The atmosphere is warm and the decor is joyful. The food is subtle. But I love the Biscoff cake which can be served with ice cream, cream or custard, of course hot or cold. The young lady that served me and my partner was very pleasant and sweet. A good place to go if you want a relaxed meal.
