I went for an afternoon play date with my kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the Korean menu and decided to order some food. It was absolutely delicious. We were told it would take some time to cook but it was worth the wait. We waited about 20 minutes for delicious rice, sauce grilled chicken and spring rolls. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The food was a lovely addition to a wonderful afternoon.
It was a lovely food and perfect service, I'm Korea and traveling southend, I found this great restaurant where it has Korean food! As a Korean, it was exactly what I wanted to have!
Thanks a lot for the great food and service again. I will make sure to come back again :)
A secret gem in Southend if you're craving for a Korean taste, wide choices of Korean dish. I can say it's authentic and the two lovely staff are so friendly. And it's worth coming back. Thank you!
Service here is second to none! The ladies inside are really friendly and helpful. Specifically when it comes to advising regarding their extensive Korean menu. In addition to the Korean Eats they also offer the classics such as big fry ups and chips as well as smaller bites for the little ones.
After we fill up on the delicious cookery, we always have to have a cake or cookie too as they are just to die for. Our faves are the coffee cake and choc chip cookies!!
We come weekly and are never disappointed! Keep up the great work!
The last place you expect to find restaurant quality Korean food is in the middle of a park in Southend, love the veggie Pajeon pancakes. It’s another element that helps makes Priory Park such an amazing park.
Nice little cafe. Serves hot or cold food and drink. The cafe has been revamped and is looking very good. With some high bar stools looking out through the windows, with a great view of the band stand.
Stopped for lunch, cheeseburger was divine according to one of my kids, kept going on about it for hours, and chicken burger was also very good. Kimchi jeon (Korean kimchi pancake) made with plenty of their own home-made kimchi was the best I had so far. Korean BBQ dumplings were really good too. Four meals with drinks and some extra cookies, crisps and ice-cream all came to less than £25 which is great for what we had.
Good service, happy with the whole experience, will definitely be going back as soon as possible!
Cash only when we visited.
Had lovely meals this morning. Nice sausage sandwich shame no mustard, 3 sausages for our dogs and the most wonderful Korean Katsu curry for me. Lovely staff and loved the whole park and cafe experience. Thank you. Will be back.X
Portion are always so generous so if you’re ordering you might have to go on a diet after because it’s so good you won’t be able to stop yourself! Thank you for the experience 😁
Good range of drinks and food options. Quite pricey for a park cafe
If you like Korean food, simply excellent! Great food and very nice service. However the cafe would need a bit of an uplift from the decoration point of view. My wife and I had an excellent lunch on the outside patio 2 days ago. Staff were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
Lovely little family café in a surprisingly large park with a lovely pond and playground.
Korean and English food is available and absolutely gorgeous! The staff and owner are more than happy to talk you through any Korean dishes you have questions about and are happy to make recommendations whether you like spicy or have a more mild taste. The ice cream and cake selection is very broad and there's quite a few cheaper options for the little ones.
I no longer live locally but whenever I am in the area I make sure this is where I'm making at least a snack stop.
I visited here recently with friends and partner later the same day. found the owner was very kind and friendly and a pleasure to talk too. We spent most of the day in the park. Prices are reasonable and food is great. The coffee is good too. I will visit again next time I'm in Southend. Thank you for making our visit that little bit more special. It was very much appreciated.
