I have been to Simply Blues several times before and loved the ribs so I was upset to hear they were closing so thought I would go one more time. I was extremely upset though to find that they had a reduced menu and had no ribs! We decided to stay and the steaks that we both had were to die for. It may be an idea to let people know when booking as one party walked out. Having said that we had a lovely evening and will sadly miss Simply Blues - Hornchurch is rather too far to go!!!
My boyfriend and I used to go here years ago on special occasions, we loved the food and atmosphere. We hadn't been for out for ages (date night becomes more scarce after 20 years of being together!) and decided to go for a treat. The food was just as amazing as it had been all those years ago and we would still recommend it to family and friends today. (Looks like date night could be back for good)
Food was brilliant and service was excellent, by far my favourite place to eat had starter and mainland portions were large didn't have room for pudding so next time no starter and try out the desert menu everything looked so nice!

Always good food and service. Anything not quite right, they more than happy to accommodate your tastes. Good sized portions but this is reflected in the price.
Looks to be getting a refurb. Food is good quality. Good selection of drinks. Great atmosphere. One of my favourite places but definitely not cordon bleu
