What a beautiful little gem this is. I was 38 miles into a 50 mile bike ride and stumbled across this place while trying to find my way home. Lovely owners and staff. Table service, reasonable prices and free nibbles with your pint. Love it ♥
Head here on date night. Sit down, relax & enjoy the ambience of the place. Great Guinness served in here. Although it's like an Italian/Spanish/French bar with waitress service & a tab, you will find your Guinness like it's served at St James gate! Didn't eat -just a passing beer -but the waitresses are superb -bring your beers and snacks out yo you . Great barman too -lovely and friendly. Will be back .
Lovely atmosphere, good selection of draft beers and staff very welcoming and friendly. It's a bonus not having to go into town or Churchtown and well within walking distance for home. It's dog friendly so if you're taking your pooch out for it's evening stroll this makes a great halfway house😉
Five stars as always for the bar and the staff. But ZERO STARS for the rude uncaring owner who allowed her small dog with the annoying yappy bark to ruin the mood for most people within earshot.

The owners will and and Adele are so lovely, they have an amazing place, the outdoor seating is amazing with the overhead canopy that is used in evening or when it rains. Great place to go for a drink with friends and family
Very good wine bar. Excellent choice of craft beers . Excellent service . Indoor & outdoor seating with marquees & heating & windbreaks . Very welcoming . Gets busy very quickly because it's good. Congenial & sociable atmosphere. Dogs welcomed . Been there several times for a number of years now. Will & Adele & staff make the place run so smoothly. 10/10.
Lovely quiet location, I went for a few birthday pints with my mate and we was pleasantly welcomed by the owners and sat outside. The bar is very popular and attracts a lot of locals and regulars, lots of people talking with each other and having a nice time. We opened a tab and got two fresh pints which tasted far greater than I’ve had in a while. The lovely owners served us up some free nibbles to go with our drinks and we was made to feel very welcome instantly. The inside is lovely and has a very nice layout to it. Plenty of drinks to choose from, from wines and champagnes to beers and craft ales. I noticed to serve crisps, cheese and meat boards too with bowls of olives. It’s a must visit place if you just want a nice quiet evening with a few friends and great conversation. Very peaceful vibe and a relaxing feel. I’ll definitely be back in future.
The best cafe / bar in Southport by far! Endless variety of beers, wine and cider and coffee if that is what you desire! Nothing is too much trouble for Will and Adele and their staff! I love it there! Great outdoor seating and lots of it!
