Lovely atmosphere with some really great meals in generous portion sizes. The crusts on our pizzas were perfect and my burger was cooked perfectly. Glad we stumbled across this place, would definitely recommend to others.

Great night, food really good prawn starter a very generous portion of prawns, for mains, the plaice was absolutely delicious and the cheese board to finish was enough for 2 with a good selection of cheeses. For entertainment, the Elton John tribute was really good to listen to. There seemed plenty of space for those who chose a safe distance. I for one will be going back.

My God !! How amazing is this hidden gem.
Homemade food which is just delicious, proper cocktails made the REAL way (2 for 12 quid all day every day), fabulous, friendly staff and immaculately clean. There's outside seating both front and back and a large function room too

Called in on a recommendation from a friend while enjoying a day in the town for my birthday. It was lunchtime and wasn't busy so we had the pick of the tables. As it was sunny we chose to sit in the courtyard at the back. We ordered 6 of the "small plates" between two of us. Got to say the food was fantastic - especially the garlic prawns, with a special mention for the chorizo. Good selection of drinks. I had the Camden Pale Ale. Staff were great. Nice and friendly. It's not often I get to Southport but when I do, I'll be eating at Rueters for certain. Thank you!

Lovely atmosphere, shame it was almost empty for a Friday night. Had lasagna and it was very tasty. Daughter had 8oz burger and said it was juicy and well presented. Will go back again when we are allowed to.

When we arrived we were given a table and advised it was table service only. We were then given a track and trace form to fill in, which is positive as some bars we have been to previously have not done this. The waitress was very happy and polite and seemed to be enjoying her job. All in all a good experience.

Xmas night out. Staff were great, always checking if we needed drinks. Food was much better than you expect a night out like this to be. Only downside was the entertainment. Loud, poor and not worthy of the "tribute" title. Happy we were around the corner from it

The help yourself food bar was excellent as was the waitresses service. The girls clearing tables also did an excellent job. Keeping the tables free from used glasses is often an unsung job but was done very efficiently this evening.

Love this place so much, great atmosphere and the steaks are cooked to perfection! I would of given 5 stars but it can be abit pricey! Well worth going to

This restaurant has changed and for the better. Really interesting menu with something to appeal to vegans through to carnivores. The service was excellent and the surroundings pleasant and atmospheric. The food was really well cooked, piping hot and full of superb flavours. The bill was also reasonable. A special mention because they had real ale on pump.
