I've been to a lot of Wetherspoons pubs in locations up and down the country and never had a bad meal. This one is no different. We had breakfast here both mornings of our short break and thoroughly enjoyed it. The establishment is clean and spacious, the staff friendly and helpful. The food, excellent. Thank you.

Despite the wet miserable weather, on the day of my visit this place was absolutely packed. It was the start of the autumn beer festival so there was a good selection of cask ales on tap, I elected to go for the Fyne Brewery, Avalanche & my wife went for the Titanic, Plumb Porter both of which were in excellent condition. Wetherspoons have gone through a tough period of late & especially since the Covid pandemic which has resulted in a number of their pubs closing. Unfortunately, Southport's other Spoons was one of them, it closed it's doors earlier this year. I have reviewed a number of Spoons over the years and sadly not all have been the best. But I can honestly say that on my visit today this place was excellent. The manager was friendly & very helpful, as were the bar staff (a big improvement on its old sister pub) the food was the best I've had in a long time, OK, it was only off the "small plates" menu, Chicken wings, Chicken bites & Cheesy chips, but it was all freshly cooked & faultless! So a big well done to all involved, it was excellent.

The food portion seemed small, but by the time I had finished, I was full. The food was hot and extremely delicious. The service was excellent, and we did not have to wait long for our order. Great atmosphere. Brilliant experience overall.

visited on a very busy day at that time in town. No music, no fun, just food and drinks. Was told by someone after that it's usual for this bar brand to not have music. They prefer people to come and eat/talk without any distraction. Burger was good, fries very average. A little wait in a mens toilet.

Its Wetherspooons!!....U know what you get. Lately the breakfasts have been a little 'lukewarm'....but pretty standard amongst spoons! Nice having the benches outside, for the few sunny days we have! Seemed a lot busier, and probably due to the other spoonz closing!

It seemed understaffed last night but then it was rather busy so we ordered on the app. The food was delicious; we had the hot and spicy half chicken and a pizza and both were hot and fresh. The outside seating area is really pretty at night with all the little lights in the trees. There were six real ales to choose from. We'll certainly visit this one again.

I went here for lunch with my mum, she had ham, egg and chips, and I had the katsu curry with crispy chicken. Everything had lovely flavours and we enjoyed everything. We shared a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal, with not being out for awhile. The staff were very nice and friendly and made us feel welcome.

This was a fantastic restaurant to visit for breakfast with a glorious design, especially the doors of which there is suitably many! Sanitiser is easy to find and the seating is comfortable, situated at a clean table with views of Southport from the window. The traditional breakfast was served in due time by the staff and it was quality, accompanied by a nice 'n' sweet glass of lemonade!

I went twice in one week - they have lot of seating, inside and outside. Crew was super help-full and amazing !! Its highly recommended and must to visit.
