Such a nice place to enjoy a proper coffee and delicious cakes, the gluten free carrot cake was the best I've had. Definitely one to visit again soon!

Visited today and the Customer service was Brilliant 👍 Had a good chat to the lovely lady who was taking orders and the food was lovely and they even Catered for Gluten free 😃 Would Definitely Return.

We visited the tea rooms today after our walk as we usually do most weeks. We ordered our usual bacon barm cakes with brown sauce and lattes to drink. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food lovely. Today we went back to have coffee and lemon drizzle cake which was delicious (good job we’d done plenty of walking). Hopefully see you next week weather permitting.

Been coming here regularly for a hot drink through out lock down but today sat with a group of friends for a drink and a buttie.
We had pre ordered and Diana set us up in a corner out of the rain and produced the tastiest sandwiches all freshly made.
Would recommend KINGS GARDENS TEA Rooms to everyone!!

Was served very professionally by a young lady called Emily she always had a smile and was always close by when needed. She sat me down pretty promptly and was very nice to me when i order inside. She was very professional and always wore a face mask to be covid save.
I really enjoyed my lemon tea with my carrot cake. All in all really nice time especially thanks to the servers.

Lovely little place. Great location. Anyone moaning about prices of tea, perhaps usually go to McDonald's etc. Prices we found to be very reasonable. We will definitely be sitting outside with our dogs on our regular trip to southport.

Called in for a coffee and sandwich whilst out walking with the dog and my wife and I have to say the sandwiches were amazingly fresh and delicious, the service was great and by a million miles this little gem of a tea shop is the cleanest place I have been in for a long time. The whole place including the “Throne Room” is absolutely spotless unlike the likes of Costa, Nero’s and other chain coffee shops.
This place is a real credit to its owner and their staff.
Will we go again? DEFINITELY
