Great real ales, friends staff with good knowledge of beer.
Easy open air bar, good selection of continental beer.
A very friendly place, lovely landlady and landlord, the staff are always so welcoming. They're very accommodating with dogs too, offering doggie treats to any visiting pooches.

The Pines bar is a nice place to go for a quiet drink, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. They have a very good choice of drinks, I love the Spanish beer and like the different choice of gins.
Good pint of real ale at very reasonable price. Friendly staff and handy for Hillside Station. Makes a nice change from the over priced / overrated wine bars that have taken over the area 🙄

Pines is fantastic. We all pack in there after training and it's a great atmosphere.
Nice bar small but not crampt, will be nice for a drink outside in the summer, convenient location close to station. Prices are what you would expect with a decent choice of draught estrella becks vier and stella as well as bottles. Large choice of whisky. Nice staff all round pleasant experience
