The Provision Company

My son wanted seafood for dinner and we decided to try here. My husband got the conch fritters, we all shared shrimp, and my son had their clams and a baguette. Everything was very fresh and the scenery was pretty. The staff was very friendly and polite. The cocktail sauce was very good too. I’m not sure if they make it themselves or not, but I appreciated it wasn’t sweet like some can be.

This was my first visit to the provision company, I got "Thee Special " a half pound of steamed shrimp, a deviled crab cake and a half ear of corn!! It was DELICIOUS! We sat on the back deck and ate overlooking the water, it is a Beautiful View! Something that struck me a little odd was that they operate on the (Honor System) You just go inside and pick whatever beverage you want to drink, Beer or anything and just get one and go back to your table and when you pay at the end you just tell them how many you had and they ring you up! It was Very Cool! I will Definitely return!

A fun place for lunch or dinner on the waterfront in Southport. Steamed shrimp and crabcake special was fantastic. I added both potato salad and cucumber salad. Food was quickly served after placing order. Tea, soda and beer are help yourself honor system. Food is delivered to your table by one of the many waiters . The view is nostalgic and charming.

The Provision Company is another spot I never skip to visit while in Southport. Provisions is a real experience with more character than many wax museums posing as restaurants. The crab cakes and shrimp are as fresh as it gets. Everything is reasonably priced and there is very few greater, simpler pleasures than enjoying a Yeungling on the dock while you wait to be seated!

I’ve seen people wearing shirts from here for years, so we finally decided to check it out. Loved the location. The view of the water was beautiful. The service was fast and friendly. The setup was wonderful. While you sit in the open, they have a plethora of ceiling fans, which combined with the breeze from the water, kept you nice and cool. The food was great, and it seemed reasonably priced. Would definitely come back.

I celebrated my birthday here and was very happy with the food and overall experience. I got their grilled tuna with potato salad and cucumber salad. Everything had so much flavor and was cooked to perfection. My mom got the same plate and loved it. My boyfriend got their crab cakes which were delicious. We all shared the conch fritters which hit the spot. The views were lovely. We got there at perfect timing to watch the 4th of July parade. I can't wait to go back and try something different :)

Great experience. Friendly and inviting staff. Our party of 8 was seated quickly. Our meals came to the table hot, fast, and tasty. Those who had the shrimp really enjoyed them. The crab cakes were good. The ratio of crab to breading was better than average. I'm normally not a fan of any type of tartar sauce but I actually found theirs to be delicious. I'd definitely give them another try.
