Artisan Restaurant

Atmosphere is lovely but unfortunately service wasn’t the best and the food while pretty was only average. Needed to find our waiter each time we wanted something. Had arranged with the hostess to bring out a dessert at the end as we were there for a celebration. The dessert never arrived, not sure if it was a miscommunication but it was disappointing. I don’t have much to say about the food as it wasn’t memorable. My one comment is that the fish needed seasoning. Would like to try again in case we were there on an off night.

The location is very pleasant with a nice indoor space and nice terrace ,however the food was tasteless and mediocre at best. The service was disappointing as the waitress was rushing in taking the order to the point that we did not feel we could ask her about some of the dishes. I would like to point out that the bus boy and junior waitress were very nice and trying to be helpful. We had oysters to start they were good my daughter had the lobster roll tasteless with a greasy roll. For mains we had the chicken Paillard which was ok. The rubbed brisket was average and the the simplest dish of all sunny side up eggs with bacon and sausage was a disaster with the eggs greasy again the bacon burnt and the meatball style sausage was a miss. The only thing that looked good were the fries. Anyway we won’t be going back. It’s a shame with the nice setting they should do better they need to re visit the service and the kitchen staff.

Cannot believe restaurant like that still exists! Was there with my wife for the lunch. Called them first and was told that seats may not be available, but came anyway. Only few tables were taken. Waiter came in about 10 minutes and asked if we want some drinks. We ordered two mimosas. After another 15 minutes I asked for the waiter and then manager came. He told us that waiter left (!!!) and took order again. Service has been extremely unprofessional and for the people at the next table waiter brought the wrong food twice! After another 40 minutes of waiting we just left. Disastrous management and staff is completely disorganized! Never will be back! Feels like being in a madhouse!
