Tonic On Chirn

Cool little restaurant/bar, Fantastically cooked food, amazing flavours. Great atmosphere, a little on the expensive side however we were not disappointed. The service was fantastic. Funny how the simplest things are sometimes the best, the bread and dips was outstanding, the dukkah served with it is soooooo good. I need the recipe!

Mate... this place is something special. The kids got looked over by nan and pop, so me and the bird went out for a feed before we get locked out for not being vaxxed :P, the first time being here and it was unreal!! Best food and cocktails. Definitely pricey, would only come here for the special occasion, but the food is a work of art and deserves the price tag. The waitress was really lovely, unfortunately, I can't remember her name but we had some good laughs and she gave us a heads up about the insane storm that was coming in! Legend!

My Girlfriend and I enjoined our lunch date at Tonic, this normally buzzing area of Chirn Park was more subdued on the GC show public holiday, but our appetite’s were thankful Tonic was trading. Tonic is a Tapas resteraunt and bar, so servings aren’t huge but for a fairly reasonable bill total we left very satisfied. My partner order the fish tacos and I the Crumbed Eggplant and shoestring fries as an extra. Service was super fast and in no time the delicious fish tacos were gone. Probably the fish tacos were the best we have ever eaten. The crumbed eggplant wedges were also very nice and the rich tomato sauce was a great flavour enhancement. Delicious, thanks Tonic, we will return.
