At Thai On Ferry

As its not local to me, this is somewhere we normally would not dine. Yet glad we did as the food I ordered was tasty and the staff were impressive. Impressed as they consider the small details. For example asking if my toddler would like plastic crockery and cutlery, the complimentary prawn chips (which my toddler devoured and just their welcoming demeanour). Additionally, even though it was a full house, was pleased by how quick our food was served. If I was to be critical, we were bitten by mosquitoes as we dined outside. The team were prepared with repellent yet it did hasten our experience their and wonder if we would have ordered more food given the chance. Tip: Although it was a midweek, early dinner for us they only just squeezed in our walk in. Therefore if you're keen to dine in their pleasant atmosphere, make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Pad Se-ew 5/10 “ not enough ingredients and chewy” Spring rolls 3/10 “filling was bland and dough was thick/ undercooked” Red curry vegetables and tofu 5/10 “not spicy at all or authentic- not enough vegetables, the curry was not rich or tasty, bland taste” Would not recommend this place. There are better Thai restaurants in Gold coast. Total damage for curry, coconut rice and spring rolls $29
