Ordered a Spicy Beef soup here. My order got "lost" and took over 40mins to prepare. Towards the end I was standing at the counter, being reassured that it would be one more minute (spoiler alert - it wasn't). All in all the food was average - soup a wee bit too salty and too fatty. Normally, I am not fussy, but after waiting for over 40mins for an average pho soup, I'm pretty unhappy.

Been loyal since your old bakery but today I was that disappointed by my Banhmi I wanted to write a negative review. Two women make the Banhmi and being a weekly customer I know how much goes in after watching both make mine for so long. However today I received NO coriander and 4 sprigs of shallots on a "large" $10 vegetarian. So underwhelmed I went and bought a bunch of coriander & shallots to add more. Please stay consistent and don't stinge. The dark sauce is what keeps me going back because it genuinely is one of the tastiest and more authentic Banhmis on the coast... today was just a sad experience but it only requires one to write a review like this. :(

Great food, tasty, beef cuts on point. Portion size great. However, they side bar the hoasin and sriracha so you have to ask for them. No basil.

One of my favourite places to eat. The food is awesome. Surprisingly they have pies and sausage rolls that are really good too. The service is like you would expect at a busy Asian market - strictly business no nonsense. They are not rude they are just busy. My recommendations are the rice paper rolls and pho.

Sorry the food was pretty good but the lady was so rude ! I did a split payment with my friend and she was shaking her head. She also yelled at my friends for sitting at the table and although the seats are only for the vn bakery, we were ordering from there and she allowed it (aggressively) after considering for a moment. Despite making it clear we were both eating together she only gave us one pair of chopsticks so I asked for another pair at the counter. I saw a bowl and a spoon with chopsticks, all of which looked like they weren’t cleaned properly and therefore assumed it was another customers finished meal. I asked if we could just have one set of chopsticks as my friend and I were sharing a bowl, and miscommunication was the problem there as she never specified it was for me. Instead of her complying to my request of just some chopsticks she was extremely passive aggressive about the situation. After me saying for the a millionth time I just wanted a set of chopsticks, she shook her head as she walked to get me a clean set of chopsticks and as she did, snatched it out of the tray and angrily grabbed a spoon before slamming it on the table in front of me. I said thanks nicely smiled at her and sat down. After we finished our food I returned the tray and said thank you and talked about how I didn’t like the way she was behaving, however she deflected majority of the negative feedback I had given to her. Extremely poor service and will never order again. Will encourage people to not eat there because it was pretty bad.

Terrible service, the old lady was so rude that I left before finishing ordering. Got sushi from Sushi Hub across from this place and they were a million times nicer. Looked at her kicking people away from "her" tables for eating things not from her store even though it was empty, talking up customers, the whole 9. Don't eat here if you don't want your nerves tinkered with. Others reviews corroborate what I say...

If you live on the coast, you must eat the Vietnamese baguette aka Banh Mi at this place. It is the best Banh mi and possibly best Pho in QLD. Actually, I will say the best Banh Mi in Australia. Prove me wrong! The service is fast but staff can be short and appear impolite (it could also be a cultural thing). You come to VN bakery to grab the best baguette ever and be on with your day. For a moment, shut off your need to consistently be treated like you are royalty and instead treat your stomache with the most special baguette you have had...possibly ever! All the Banh Mi's are good. All of them. Eat all of them! If you live on the coast and you have not eaten this Banh Mi you have not eaten Banh Mi!
