Tried for first time tonight and very impressed. Battered Flake good, Grilled Barra good, Calamari excellent and Potato Scallops spot on

Burger was saucy and delicious only thing was it was missing cheese other then that it satisfied my craving for a works burger 🤤 Yumm (hamburger with the works).
Restaurant was clean.
my can of drink from the refrigerator was hot unfortunately, nothing worse then a hot coke.

Clean. Staff courteous. Wait time was only 10mins. The fisherman basket was nice but a little overcooked and not as large as used to be. Saying that however it was $16 roughly. Big meal for one or shared as a small meal for two. It was yummy.

Updating again (started with 5, then 2, now 5 again).
After a few months in 2021 of disappointing deep fried seafood, Charlie de Cod is 'great again', in the best possible way. Value is great, options great, flavour, freshness, crispiness and serving size, all great. Customer service is up and down, but since everything else is great again, it doesn't need to feel special at the cash register.
Unfortunately, after years of clogging up arteries at Charlie de Cod, we moved to the state of potato "cakes" and dim sims in a seafood basket, so please stay open for whenever we return! Thanks for all the fish.

Last time I will be visiting this fish n chip shop. I have given them so many chances but they always stuff up the order. When you order 5 fish bites and 5 battered fish bites means you should get 10 fish bites. You either get 5 fish bite or 5 battered fish bites, this has happened over 4 or 5 times so one of us misses out on their dinner. By the time you contact the store get it fixed you order is cold.
