Meals were great today. 3 of us ordered the $15 Steak off the Monday - Thursday lunch specials. 1 Steak ordered Med Rare, 1 x Med and 1 x Med Well Done and all steaks came out perfectly cooked 👌 This is also our local we eat / drink here often. Meals are always great and the staff never disappoint. Friday meat trays are always good fun. Special mention for Megsy and JD (Old Mate), please never leave….you guys make this pub great!

Love this Tavern. We often go before or after the movies at HOTA. The best cooked food ever. Especially the Steak Sandwich. Best one on the Gold Coast. Kitchen staff always come out and check how our food was. The Monday to Thursday lunch specials are great, just wish they were Monday to Saturday lunch specials.

FRT is the place to be! Great atmosphere, quality meat trays, beer is the best in town and the staff are better than your favourite child! (I know you’ve got one). The feeds are second to none, TAB is all you could ask for and enough TV screens to watch all your favourite sports and more! Get around it, you know you want to.

COZY LOCATION We had lunch at the Tavern on a wet and rainy day. The Tavern is situated in a convenient and cozy location. The design layout of the complex wasn't ever thought through. The meal area is not separated from the main bar or racing area. Potential for a very noisy meal when its busy. Having said that, we found the staff friendly and accommodating. The drinks and food were enjoyable. They have $13 Monday to Thursday lunches. I had the rissoles, mash and peas. The meal was enjoyable but left me feeling like a needed more. 3 rissoles would have been perfect because the two I had were average in size. The rissoles I had were made of very highly processed mince. Nothing like home made ones. Accessibility for wheelchairs and walkers is easy.
