Back in the 70’s & 80’s I thought it would be absolutely impossible to stuff-up Australia Post .. well .. its been done AND its irreversible 😖
We’ve got a Federal Election coming up & i’m reluctant to do a ‘postal ballot’ for fear that it doesn’t get there in time to be counted 😟
You can almost smell the incompetence and inefficiency as you approach the counter 😩

One lady working here is suffering through an eternal bad day. Not helpful , lied to my face., was just downright rude. This is a post office a certain level of professionalism is required. If ya having a bad day stay at home and don’t ruin other people’s days.

If only there were negative star ratings! The staff at this post office bring a whole new meaning to inefficiency! 12 people standing in the queue at lunch time, and one of the staff members feels that's the ideal time to rearrange the shelves?!?! Then being told that you can no longer post packaged biscuits overseas. I was told "We don't do that anymore". I also had a 'parcel to collect' card left in our mailbox with no name on it. When I got to the post office the lady told me that I needed to produce identification that matched the name on the card. I had to explain to her that they had not put a name on the card, so how was I supposed to have matching identification to an item with no name. It took a while for her to figure that one out!!! I unfortunately have to frequent this post office as it is our local for business, but if you can, do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

The two gentlemen who helped me with my passport application could not have been more helpful. They tried beyond the call to get my documents accepted, phoning the passport office for me. They also retook my passport photos, at no charge, because another Australia Post did such a dreadful job. They were very empathetic, efficient and gave lots of suggestions and advice.
