Tried New Haldi on a very busy Wednesday night… so have made allowances with my review for slow service etc.
I ordered a coke, and a cobra appeared. But a lovely waiter switched them for me. It took a while to order our food but it was busy. But the staff were friendly especially what I guessed was the owner. (Awesome suit too!)
The starters were lovely!
(We were told they would take a while as the kitchen was so busy, so we did order poppadoms and chutneys in the mean time so to not rush the heaving kitchen staff any further as we could tell they were busy!)
We had the chicken tikka and samosas. The tikka melted! It was beautiful. The samosas were bursting with flavour.
The mains came a butter chicken and a korma, both were DIVINE! My boyfriend got the paneer cheese and spinach with a boiled rice. I ordered a boiled rice and garlic naan (the rice never appeared but it’s fine) everything tasted lovely!
It took a while to get the bill but as I’ve mentioned, they were very busy! We will go back as the owner was ace and the food was lovely!
Customer service was 10 out of 10 along with the food! Exceptional! Really pleased we picked this restaurant. Restaurant ambience is lovely. Defo one to check out if you haven't already.
What a fantastic restaurant. Food is amazing, both eat in and take away. Maz and the team are always on hand to recommend dishes and ensure you have a great meal. They also have some amazing deals - Sunday and Wednesday banquet as well as Tapas nights.
Had an amazing meal yesterday, top quality food.staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Totally recommend to anybody looking for a curry. Will be going back soon.
Automatically the best restaurant ive ever been to the food is delicious there the service couldnt be any better. Honestly this restaurant is 10/10 and would definitely recommend to everyone. There is this waiter who has a side parting and moustache and is a smiley lad he is a great waiter so thank you to him for making the time even better
Regulars of the delicious take aways, we decided to eat in for our daughter's (11th) birthday. The restaurant was spotless, excellent service, food and atmosphere. We all had a wonderful evening, made better by Maz and his team. They even surprised our daughter, and us, with a sparkler and complimentary dessert - wonderful! Highly recommended.
First time visiting new haldi tonight, me and my husband have been going to the same Indian restaurant for 20 years, and no other has compared, untill tonight.
Food was perfect, service was spectacular and the general dine in experience was spot on.
We will definitely be returning in future
Came to new haldi last night with my family, food was tremendous 10/10 for sure everytime, service was 10 as well, I would also like to mention a young smiley chap with upper lip hair with great and polite service, we forgot to ask his name but shout out to him! Definitely will recommend
Can't speak highly enough of the Haldi, we've had many takeaways and have come in for many meals. The staff are always very attentive, the food is always spot on. Cant fault it. You should definatley give it a go
One of the best buffets I have been to recently, the food tasted like the old school curries that you used to get in the 80s and 90s which were far superior to what you get these days.
The staff was super friendly and accommodated for our baby daughter on Mother's day.
Will definitely be going back for the buffet and a la carte.
1st time ordering tonight...and impressed they deliver to Partridge Green, as not many places do.
Excellent meal and very happy customers.
Even got a call to check we enjoyed the meal and to see if there was anything else we needed, or they could do Great customer service.

Phenomenal food and top-notch service, I think this is the BEST restaurant south of London and it’s a shame that I can’t give it a sixth star. 11/10

Just had another great meal from the Haldi. The food is as good as it was when I first moved to Southwater in 2010. Well done to Maz and his team. Perfect 👍
