Quick to book kayaks for kids. Clear and clean water. Even with loads of people around it is great experience.

We went into the cafe to get an ice-cream for the children. They tasted quite nice and for what they were reasonably priced. The only thing was the ice cream line and food line are in the same place so we had to wait for quite a long time to order.

Lovely cafe set in the grounds of Southwater Country Park. The cafe serves hot and cold beverages, hot and cold food including sandwiches and soup, homemade cakes and pastries. It has a large outside area with a views over the lake. We only had a hot chocolate to sip whilst strolling around the lake.
