Khyber Pass - Southwell - Photo album

Gorgeous curry. We had a selection of beef and lamb curries with naans and pilau rice and all were delicious. Cobra on draught. Pickle tray and poppadoms. Between four of us it was £25 each including tip for beer/pickle/poppadom/curry/rice/naan. Good value for the quality.
Had the chicken Biryani Which was superb. All meals in our party were excellent. Attentive staff, great buzz and weren't rushed. Would highly recommend.
Wow! On holidays in the area. Desperate for a curry we stumbled upon this place and were blown away! It’s been totally renovated since the pictures and has a lovely chilled vibe… BUT THE FOOD is incredible!! Flavours fresh and amazing, meat really tender, spices perfect! Not your typical curry! The
Lovely meal with six of us there, fairly big portions, a good amount of food. One of us asked for the food to be spicier and it was delivered well. Waiting time was about 25 minutes. A nice ambience there.
One of my favourite Indian restaurants. It's worth travelling to from Newark to this place. Its that good 👍
Everything about this place was excellent. Loved the large portion of delicious mutton curry with mushroom rice
If I were to paraphrase Douglas Adams, my two word review of Khyber Pass would be "mostly average". Khyber Pass isn't a bad restaurant, it's just a long way from great. The food is inconsistent. One time you might order a Lamb Pasander and it's fairly mild. The next time it'll be really spicy. So
Excellent venue following the refurbishment. Food is better than ever
Visited with friends who regularly eat here. They love it. So having joined them I can understand why. It’s not glamorous but well led and friendly staff. Good menu choices and quality was great. To much onion with my tandoori m/grill but good nevertheless. I will go again and would recommend.
Dined here with my partner the other day, Food was immense. Not been for a while but they are doing such a better job than the previous owners. You could actually taste all the different ingredients they use and the meat was so juicy and tender. One of the best curries I've ever had, definitely
Fantastic restaurant, doesnt look the best in appearance but the food is 10/10! It was our first time here and our first time eating out since the lockdown. Hygiene standards were great, social distance was adhered to, customer service was wonderful. All in all we left feeling great after the meal.
Really good food and friendly staff. Have been a couple of times now and will keep going back. The korma and tikka masala are great for the children who don’t like their food spicy. Lots of choice and portion sizes are spot on.
Been here years ago and was ok but heard it had changed hands and thought we'd give it a try. We weren't disappointed. Friendly staff made us feel welcome and the food was great. Will definitely be going back.
Don't let the decor put you off, the staff are very polite and welcoming and make you feel at home. The food is very well presented and tastes great! What more can you ask for. Definetly will be returning again soon!
First curry since lockdown started. What a treat, glad to see that no matter what Ali and his team have kept up their high standards. Great curry, superb flavour, meat so tender you can cut it with a spoon. Great service, glad to be back. Thanks Ali.
Recently changed ownership. We went for the first time since the change on Saturday night and the place was packed. Food and service were excellent and the new menu has some interesting choices including Duck and Rabbit. All the makings of a good restaurant although they do need to do something wit
Restaurant was closed for a while and is now fully reopen after a refurbishment. Food is still as good as ever. Our regular takeaway order is always, fresh, hot and tasty.
