I have used this place for many years. It is a traditional pub filled with naval bric-a-brac, and often crammed. It can be noisy then. The staff are shall we say, old school, the place is crammed with character, just on the edge of a village shopping centre, and not far from either the station of the cricket green. Its limited wine list meets most pub food requirements, whilst it specialises in better local draft bitters and premium ciders. I am an Addlestones addict, (cloudy, with bits, slightly sparking, and REAL apple flavour) and also like some of the others. Food is served in generous proportions and represents excellent value. There is a fixed menu and a daily specials board led by what the local farmers and fishermen have provided, and this often yields gems. For those who want to sample what a small family run pub has been for the last xx years, this is the place to visit!

I like this place. Is good place and dont take all my money. Went to a Beer Engine before and a miserable big man took all my money. Then I come here, and a happy little man dont take all my money. I like it here. I am going to bring all my imaginary friends here next time

One of the best pubs around anywhere. Traditional local boozer with a nautical theme, friendly staff, great group of regulars and a brilliant outside area for the summer.

Hi. A very nice little pub servicing the local area. I visited this pub for 15 minutes when I missed a train and didn't want to have to wait on Southwick train platform for 20 minutes in the chilled October evening air. This pub is 2 minutes up the road from the station. Just turn left out the station and it's literally 200 yards away within eyeshot. Easy to get to. I stopped in there for a quick pint of Diet Coke and a couple of packets of crisps before quickly jogging back to the station. A nice little pub and very friendly swift service! ๐Ÿ‘
