The Little Fish And Chip Shop - Southwold - Photo album

Nice scampi and chips. The room to dine in is small but it doesn't take long until someone gets up and goes. No toilets. If it gets busy you may be given a buzzer to let you know when your order is ready.
Excellent fish and chips in the heart of Southwold, close to the Lord Nelson pub. Batter is crunchy and the chips are perfectly cooked. They have a small eat-in area at the front, whilst for takeaway - which is the majority of their business - you go in through a small door at the side to join the q
Fantastic fish and chips!! We waited like 15 mins (Tuesday night). If the weather is good, turn left out the shop, go past the Nelson pub and then turn left again on the front. You’ll find a lot of benches where you can sit and enjoy whilst watching the sea.
Bloody brilliant. Scrumptious fish and chips that permenated the whole of Southwold on a Sunday evening, relentlessly drawing a queue to sample the fishy feast. Well organised, very busy and surprisingly reasonable on price. Great fishy chips.
The summertime Friday night queues to order and then collect might be long, but that's a sign of the quality food and service. Bring a drink and/or have a chat whilst you wait! Pagers are given out that buzz when your food is ready. Proper good fish and chips etc to be had.
Really good fish and chips. The ordering process could be improved so it's not such a long wait - but to be fair, some customers ordering skills leave much to be desired... Once your order is placed the food arrives in a reasonable amount of time, freshly cooked and delicious.
Dare i say it, the best fish n chips ive ever had! Cooked in beef dripping! Got our chips, bottle of cyder and ate them on the best, lovely end to the day.
A tiny but good shop near the beach and town in Southwold. It has a small area for about 10 people inside, but you have to wait outside, after you've ordered - seems like they only cook to order. However, the staff are good and the food high quality, so it's worth the wait, if it's not cold or rainy
Very rare that I leave a review but the food was fantastic, I can’t think of a time where I’ve had better fish and chips. A must visit!
Luckily we got there when it was quiet and got a seat inside. Service is as expected. The pager makes you jump! Food is as good as you'd expect, perfect. Curry and/or TarTar sauce is well worth the extra.
Very good fish and chips cooked in beef dripping. Great crunchy texture, great flavour. The home-made tartare sauce was excellent too. Very limited indoor seating.
Had an absolutely delicious Rock and Chips. Everything is cooked to order and the fish was creamy as it should be. As for the chips, well, I have never had such crispy ones without them being overcooked before. These were perfect in every way.
Chips are 5 star but the fish was only 4 star this is due to the fact that for the price, the fish size was on the small size and the batter looked well done but was not crispy enough, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, had the curry sauce, this is very spicy compared to
Great take away fish and chips. Probably the best I have tasted. Very busy but worth the wait. Easy pick up with a buzzer to tell you when your food s ready. Highly recommended
Must be good judging by the queues! Get your fish and chips then 2 minutes walk to lovely spot to sit and eat with a beautiful view of the sea.
