Great pub in Southwold next to lighthouse. Great food and specials available. No bookings, just walk in. Great range of beers most brewed 50 meters away! Our children, 13, 11 and 9 loved the food too. Looking forward to returning, just myself and wife one day

Great little pub, very impressed and how pubs should be. Excellent choice and well kept beers, superb food and great staff. Highly recommended and you don’t have to book!!

The Sole Bay Inn has always been one of my favourite Suffolk pubs. I recently had lunch at the pub with my uncle, and having just discovered I have a gluten intolerance, I was pleased to find out it has a gluten free menu and Adnams Ease Up IPA (also GF) on tap. I resisted the gluten-free fish and chips and went for the seafood salad. It was nice but could have done with a little more seasoning and salad ‘components’ beyond a few leaves. Some of the fish was also on the chewy side. It’s nice to know I can still eat at the pub though.

Such a lovely little pub right next to the lighthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and we couldn't fault the service - definitely the best beef burger I've tasted in a long time!

A bar rather than a pub. A good place for old favourites on the menu and a decent selection of beers and wines. Staff are welcoming and the punters are nice mix of relaxed people. So nice we went twice in the same weekend :-)

Visited this pub on a Sunday afternoon. Initially it was quite busy, with only a couple of seats available, however it become quieter during the afternoon. Nice, relaxed vibe and dog friendly. Plenty of options on the menu and specials board. We went for the potted prawns and fish a chips - both were generous portions and very tasty. As expected, the local beer was very good. We would definitely visit again.

Cute local pub with some nice food. Lacked atmosphere for me and a little clicky.

Excellent fish and chips! They also serve a selection of beers, including bottled Adnams bitter and ghost ship, wines and beverages. Nice to sit outside in the February sunshine, by the harbour.

Great pub!! Has the mothership of Adnams beers on tap. Food was excellent. We had the baguettes, the bread was fresh and delicious! Surroundings are lovely, it’s a very popular place and seating was limited inside. A must visit if you can get a seat and are in the area.

The food blew us away! Our party had four different dishes between us, and we were all very happy. Wide range of Adnams beers (obviously). The staff were friendly.

Lovely little pub with welcoming, friendly staff. Lots of great beers to choose from on tap. We didn't get to eat the food but from what we saw coming out of the kitchen it all looked very good! Chris made us feel very welcome. Thanks for having us - we will be back one day!

Lovely atmosphere and delicious food. Highly recommend the fish and chips. The curry sauce is 10/10. A firm favourite.

A busy pub, across the road from the lighthouse in Southwold, dogs are very welcome. A good lunch menu, well cooked and turned around quickly despite being busy. The half pint of prawns in the light bite menu and some really good choices of mains for all of us. A good selection of the local Adnams beer on tap made for a good afternoon. The staff were friendly and cheerful. We will return again after a good experience.

A friendly welcome awaits you on entering Sole Bay. This is a very small Inn offering many Adnams beers and also food. On our first attempt Sole Bay was packed and we had to go elsewhere but we were successful on our second. Dog friendly too.

Great beer and food. The Landlord here is really on the case by leading from the front and taking an active part in running a pub.The pub was extremely busy people waiting for tables etc. He took an active part in organising people that were waiting into getting a table in order of them waiting, full credit to him.
