Picked up a yummy ice cream from the lovely chap who served us this afternoon. Hard to find a decent sized & priced whippy ice cream these days but this was the one! Made from Devon cream, It was a mega ice cream 🥰

Had a great time! A hot drink served with a smile 😃 and a fun game on the putting green. We've been there several times over the last couple of years and we haven't been disappointed!

Lovely cafe, jubilant staff and good VFM. Recommend the Bacon, Sausage & Tomato roll including a cuppa £7.

A lovely place for a bacon roll and a cuppa, very friendly staff in a relaxed comfy environment

Highly recommend the bacon and sausage rolls. Fruit scone really nice too. Oops also ice-creams were delicious. What can I say. Also big up to Ken for keeping the gardens so lovely.

Lovely peace and tranquillity spent on the green drinking tea and eating the best carrot cake we have ever tasted. Absolute pleasure! Good service and excellent staff.
Top end to a top day out.

Great little coffee shop. The coffee is really good and we had some breakfast rolls which are really good too. You also have the option to use the putting green so the kids are entertained.
David Nelson
Great putting green, nice cafe with terrace to watch putting from. Very helpful and friendly staff - specially 'Tiger Woods' who sorts you out with equipment! More like Tigger actually! We enjoyed our visit.

Seems like a golfing holiday... or rather a putting holiday. A great idea and a perfect way to spend an autumn afternoon.
Denise Tear
Lovely way to start your day with a really good bacon roll and cup of tea, so much so we returned the next morning!!! Dog friendly too!
Katie Kilby
Lovely friendly staff, went above and beyond and bought out a great for the dog. Delicious ice cream and tea in proper China cups. Made a lovely stop off on our holiday and the children loved feeding crums to the ducks.

This little place looks very inviting as it looks so clean and fresh. The staff are very friendly too. We only had hot drinks but sat on the comfy seats out of the wind and it turned out to be a real sun trap. If it gets chilly there are blankets available to cover you up- what a great idea! There is also a putting green on site too!

Love the course. Had so much fun, the history added to each hole makes it unique and interesting. Lovely location and great price!

We have now eaten here a few times each time with a dog in tow! Each and every time the service we have received has been second to none!! As has the food good honest grub! Would recommend to anyone with or without a dog spotlessly clean which is hard when dog friendly. Well done all will be back soon!!

Southwold is a dog friendly and Motorhome friendly seaside town but don't try and drive down some of the side roads loL .. park in the main car park by the pier or sometimes u can park along the seafront rd .. not expensive too park or eat and a really traditional promenade and no charges to go on the pier and dogs allowed on the pier too unlike some places we have been too ..
Allie McBeath
Have always loved the pier at Southwold. Today I popped into The Beach Cafe on the pier to request ice for my little girl, who had just injured her hand in the car park. The staff were amazing and I actually cannot praise the wonderful first aider enough. He was so very kind, friendly and thorough and made an upsetting experience so much easier.

It's a shame the other gift shop has closed, it will very fast become just a place to eat & drink, which is fine

Nice fish & chip meals in the boardwalk restaurant. Not an enormous portion size but just right for us. Good service. Table could have done with a wipe down.
Mandy Burns
Today we had the best afternoon tea in Suffolk, amazing food. A wonderful experience in a great location
Alan Dymock
Don't eat fish and chips from pier food rubbish fruit shot drink for a child 1.75 burger came out cold
Carol Peters
It is very overpriced. They know they can get away with it because of the number of visitors. Try the quay for fish and chips. Still not very cheap but Mrs T's is the best and largest portions around. Second best is The Harbour Inn. Great fish and chips there too.

Went to the Pier today with the kids. They have a Pirate themed Treasure Hunt and some of the staff dressed as Pirates. The kids loved it! Got a free pirate flag when they finished it. Will deffo go back and do it again. It's on all month, apparently. Nice touch.

One of the best afternoon teas I have ever had.
Very friendly staff, second round of teas and coffees without even asking.

Southwold is just a lovely quaint old unspoilt English town, has a great old pier and is a must for a stroll, nice little cafe and restaurant serving really good quality food
Reasonably priced gift shops, water clock half way and hundreds of personalised placks all along the handrails with interesting messages
Great place to visit all year round

Lovely place, always liked it but not the place to go if your petrified of dogs! We stopped off enroute home from our holiday yestersay (a saturday) with our sons (one of which has special needs and is petrified of dogs) we couldnt go anywhere without them coming at him from all directions, which in turn freaked him out sooo much, took us ages to calm him down. Needless to say we had to get back in the car and just leave. Very sad!! (more sad were the total unsympathetic dog owners we came across. Not Everyone are dog lovers!!!
Mark Fraser
Food was very expensive on the pier and certainly not the best quality. That's the first and last time I will be visiting Southwold. Overateted rip off.
Claire Shanahan
Today we went for lunch at Southwold pier with our 10 month old twins. Not only was the food delicious, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and really looked after us and our twins. We had a couple of special requests and the chef was only too happy to help. This made the whole experience very enjoyable.

We never get tired of Southwold especially the pier. Love it reading all the little plaques some sad some happy, the lovely shops, restaurant, coffee shop and the old fashioned amusements love it all. There was even a Punch and Judy show at the front of the pier, great day.
