We made a detour here for food on our return to Manchester, from Haworth. Great food, great service and great value for money. We all had pie of the day and pudding, absolutely spot on - pub grub, done well and proper home made chips. I wouldn’t hesitate in going back.
A fantastic place to eat, drink and stay. The staff are great, the food is delicious and the rooms are tastefully decorated retaining many original features. We were privileged enough to meet the owners and their welcome could not have been warmer. If you want a place to relax enjoy fine dining and well kept beer in a friendly atmosphere this is a must.
Called here, to the recently refurbished Inn on a cool, damp Friday afternoon. The pub has a very nice,friendly ambience and the fire was very welcome! Had a couple of drinks and then were tempted by the attractive menu. I had the very tasty Hummus flatbread and my husband enjoyed
the Korean pork balls. The whole place is very tastefully done with lots of covered outdoor seating as well. We'll certainly be back when we're doing one of the lovely local walks or just want cheering up on a dull afternoon.
Friendly, helpful staff. Only an overnight stay. Didn't get to eat there, but reviews are good! Beautiful scenery. Handy for Halifax. Would definitely stay again!
After finding out that meals were now being served, I went with 3 friends for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and plentiful, with a good selection of veg! The staff and service was friendly and most helpful. It was quite chilly when we arrived, and the Landlord lit a fire, which was a lovely touch. This will definitely be a place we will visit often. Thank you for your hospitality.
Had a Sunday lunch with family and it was delicious. Great food and the staff were lovely and really attentive.
Also dog friendly which was a bonus !

Great country pub, rooms have been newly refurbished and are very comfortable. We enjoyed the homemade Rushcart Steak and Ale pie ... looking forward to a return visit. Enjoyed our thank you to all.
Just had a sunday roast(beef) absolutely cooked to perfection..highly highly recommend....and the Yorkshire puddings are pretty good too👍
Excellent hotel, nice sized room in a perfect location, incredible place to cycle and walk. Bus stop right outside with great public transport, which made travelling round the area easy. Food was also delicious, would definitely go back.
