Zara and Julie really looked after us when we were there for a funeral tea. The food was all home made and so fresh. Both ladies were so helpful I would recommend the Crown Inn to anyone looking for a traditional country pub. Thank you ladies.

Had a really fabulous Sunday lunch at the Crown in Surfleet. The warm and friendly ambience, accompanied by attentive and helpful staff, made a superb event for ourselves and mum. The lovely holly and stylish seating area, the dining area with a baby grand piano, the generous portions and superbly cooked food made the the day an event. Mum really felt special. Thank you so much and will be back soon.

Called in not knowing the pub friendly staff, atmosphere strange as a wake arrived just after us. No food eaten, would try it again.

First time under current ownership and am pleased to say we have another fine dining pub in Surfleet just outside Spalding. The little snug area is delightful, comfortable settees and felt very cosy indeed. We were seen to our table in the dining room by very pleasant staff after placing the food order, once seated we were served with freshly cooked food of a good quality, lots of veggies etc and all 8 of us all had clean plates, we were then offered puddings and yet again all clean plates back to the kitchen, would we go back again? In a flash, oh and very reasonably priced to ! Well done the crown, but don’t forget ‘book first’ Ken Challans

Lovely cozy pub with a roaring fire. The buffet was excellent and it was all homemade. Plenty of it too. Tea and coffee on tap. Landlady was very amenable and friendly. We were so happy and comfortable that we moved from the restaurant and lounge on the plush sofas. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The roaring fire was the best even if it was 15 degrees outside. Thank you for a wonderful time and we will return in 2022 to try one of your roasts.
