Penningtons - Spalding - Photo album

Warm and friendly atmosphere, nice service, tasty cakes and coffee. A charming place for a tasty meal, a quick coffee or a long chat with friends. nice place and lovely decorations.
Quirky, warm and welcoming cafe - also with main meals and licensed - tucked down a pretty side street next to antiques shop. Surprisingly spacious inside with several different areas to sit. Friendly, and very happy to have me as a solo diner. Thank you, I'll be returning ☺️
Kindly extended a Birthday 'Afternoon tea for 2'. Nice food served and plenty of it. The only negative thing I say was that it was a little cold in there, due to having the doors open (I realise that this was a neccessary thing due to Covid). Would definitely go back.
We popped in today for a quick lunch after a trip into Spalding. It was our first visit to this little gem, and we were delighted. The decor is whimsical with teacups and tiny colourful birds hanging from the ceiling. The food was good and the service prompt. We had a panini and a jacket potato, bot
This was our second visit and great service, coffee and great food. Even the dog got lots of fuss. Will be back for more of the same. Thank you.
Great coffee at a great price. Staff are all lovely and the atmosphere is great.
We had afternoon tea booked in and I have to say it was surprisingly beautiful and the staff were very friendly πŸ˜€
First time here, (just passing through Spalding) but an absolutely lovely place, food was excellent, salad was fresh all very good for food lovers like us. Clean table, establishment and toilet. Five stars for the food, you could think about table service for taking orders, I walked round the shop l
Always a lovely place to go, for a coffee , tea, a snack or cake. Lovely atmosphere πŸ‘
Lovely cafe in picturesque old building, very British atmosphere. Nice staff. Very cosy feeling. Only 1 thing - I havent seen gluten free options on the menu.
Nice staff, the food was lovely 😍
Decided to support a local business rather than a chain and wasn't at all disappointed. Lovely festive drinks (winter spiced latte gingerbread latte etc) and a great selection of sweet and savoury treats. Choice of seating in the lovely conservatory or the main part of the tea room.... both clean,
I often visited this beautiful little coffee/gift shop before lockdown and would ofter order their delicious warm cheese scone with butter and cream cheese, called in a couple of day's ago as I was in the area and ordered the same only to find that the scone was now cold and the cheese was a small l
We call in almost every time we are in town. It's good coffee in comfortable surroundings. We haven't eaten often but what we've had has been good.
Enjoyed a nice lunch with with tea in lovely teapots with great cups and saucers. Only disappointment was that we didn't leave room to try any of the fabulous looking cakes! That's something we will definitely have to rectify with another visit.
Excellent coffee, hot sandwiches and sausage rolls, sadly they'd run out of scones but a lovely place to while away an afternoon eating and browsing.
Very nice cafe, prices slightly higher than expected. In the few times I've been here the waitresses are either totally attentive or non existent! Food good, drinks very good.
Polite staff, nice atmosphere and decor and reasonable prices. Nice change from the various chain coffee shops. Also has some interesting bits and pieces for purchase around the cafe.
First class service, food was very good. Really enjoyed our lunchtime here.
