It has character outside, it needs some tlc inside but the food was excellent, the landlord very friendly and knowledgeable. We (4 of us) ordered fish a chips and Scampi and chips, large portions well cooked and well presented. Oh! And the beer is Wensleydale brewery and I thoroughly recommend The
What a gem. Fabulous small Yorkshire old pub. Great food and even better welcome by landlord and Lexi the dog - not to mention the real ales. Will be back.
What a great pub, it's very down to earth a proper pub, the landlords a brilliant host a very friendly welcome that continues throughout your stay a friend in his home - which i suppose you are.
