What a lovely place on our doorstop. The female bartender/landlady(?) couldn't have more welcoming. Nice pint with the 2 dogs. I'm hoping to try a meal one day soon.
Visited with a friend on a Friday at lunchtime. Food and service were impeccable. Decor was quite modern with plenty of space.
Unfortunately the place was a little cold and we had to eat with coats on but will definitely return 😁
Good grub, reasonable prices
If you can't be bothered to cook on a Sunday head on down for the roast. Nice portion size and your choice of tasty food.

Called in on way to a christening and had the most amazing carvery, also found out that they do take aways, price is excellent and staff are really polite, would highly recommend this place
Very welcoming owners/staff. The food is very good. I highly recommend trying the food and plenty of offers for drinks. Great place.
Usually meet here with friends before a local match when it can get busier or sometimes to watch a game on tellys in which case its usually not too bad/quiet. No issue taking kids as long as they behave though it is a pub not a family resteraunt and mine only come along for the above occasions. Wouldn't take them otherwise. Beers ok and prices not too bad.
Decent pub with good staff.
And a fair price for drinks.

Not a bad pub. Went for a pint before the Spennymoor v Darlington match. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.
