Ordered from this Chinese on many occasions. Personal opinion, the best takeaway restaurant in Spennymoor. The food is always of very good quality and delivery is always within half an hour of ordering. Looking forward to my next order!

Usually spot on but last night was disappointed with the service. Waited 1h45 when I was told 1h for my food. An hour later my food hadn’t left. The lady on the phone said 15 mins. 15 mins came and went, called again and this time she was quite argumentative and was trying to talk over me when I was asking - quite calmly - where my food was and how long I had been waiting and that perhaps a more accurate wait time should have been provided. Not long after this phone call my food arrived, which was delicious, can’t fault that. But I don’t think I’ll be using these again for a while as I’m disappointed with the attitude I received yesterday as a frequent customer.

Absolutely wonderful! Girlfriend had a beef curry with chips, I had a chicken curry with fried rice and we both really enjoyed it. Large portions full of flavour. Will definitely be ordering from here again! (I've updated the menu photos too)

Always been my favourite Chinese in spenny. Food is consistent, tasty and quick. I think their son has been getting involved recently, and he seems class. He's good on the phone, knows what he's doing and has never made a mistake with any of my orders. Chicken fried rice is amazing (fresh chicken). Premises need a face-lift, but that's not important. It's clean and sanitary, but I bet it puts people off.

I cannot be happier with the menu items I've had from them since it's got new owners, from beef curry or gravy and chips to the Munchie boxes it has all been a pleasant surprise on how nice all the food has been. Also the wait time has always been faster than I expected it to be which is always a bonus.
