Tasty Asian cuisine, excellent juices, fast and friendly service. Moderate prices, good location. In short, a good place for a getaway with family or friends.

I've been to Wagamama in 2019 on a previous trip. Having it again was a very similar experience but I feel like the portions were more fair this time. Food was great, the servers were nice and attentive. A place that has vegan options and does them well is all I ask for and that was accomplished.

Wagamama is a nice place to dine with friends and family The ambience is extraordinary The service was truly good, right from the welcome to the conversation with the dishes We visited for the first time so one of the staff members explained the good options for us The food was also pretty good and flavourful The drink options were unique and really nice You get chopsticks along with forks/spoons so it’s up to you what you prefer The preparing time was very quick and that surprised me !!

The place was really busy but the service was great! I loved the prawn firecracker and the No-jito. Highly recommend.

2021: Ok. The food was not great this time. But they still get 4 stars as they DO listen to you when you're unhappy and look to sort it for you. A little bit of push back but not enough to be upset. The dividers along the long table allow for some safety during Covid times and they are cleaning tables before guests are seated. Good to see. We had: Vegan squid - 8/10 (not as good as Staines branch!); Vegan ribs - 1/10 yuk too burnt although texture good; Yaki soba with extra ginger - 9/10 yum; chicken raisukaree - NOT mild despite the description! We went it back as too spicy despite picking the chilli out! - coconut icecream - disappointed as no passion fruit sauce and the toffee sauce just doesn't work instead. Bit too "bitty" and sweet too. 2023 June: Sunshine and outdoors. No more vegan squid 😔 the Bang Bang cauliflower IS very spicy. The mushroom Bao buns delicious.

A nice place to go for dinner. Pros: -kind and helpful staff -I like the table set up - it’s like a cafeteria with long tables. -fair price and good size portions. I didn’t take home any leftovers. -free green tea is nice. Cons: -my udon was not the best I’ve had. I had to add a decent amount of other sauces to enhance the flavour to my liking.

There was a long queue on entry and the place needs a better waiting area as people were blocking the door entrance. We were however, seated very quickly by the waiter. Food quality was average due to the Fire Cracker (chicken) was not spicy enough and I felt it was rather mild. It has been better before on my first visit to this place. The sides were okay and I enjoyed the steamed buns. The juice drink should come with ice as they’re warm but tasty. Would recommend however. Great place to bring your friends and family.

What can I say I had Georgie serve me and right from the start she was so helpful and had a smile that made my family feel right at home and helped my son choose the meal that best filled his needs as he was so hungry. Georgie Knew all about the different foods and spices in the dishes available, I would recommend this Wagamama in St Albans and definitely try get Georgie to serve you on your evening out you won’t be disappointed with her and the service great start to the weekend 5***** perfect location also and parking is underneath the restaurant which is handy when weather is bad
