It was a Sunday and we were out for a walk with friends and decided to get lunch before the walk home. Basically we stumbled upon the Green Man pub in Sandridge, nr StAlbans. Real beer directly from the barrel. We had 'Side Pocket for a Toad' from Tring Brewery. It was a sunny day and we retired to enjoy our beer in the garden. What's not to like.
It is lovely small, well-decorated, and stylish. It's a great pub feel. Small quiet room at the back. A big marquee behind that. A ground-floor cellar is visible to the customers. It has a great feel to it.
