I stayed at the Inn in a single room. It was lovely, I absolutely recommend this place. The whole inn&restaurant has a nice and friendly atmosphere, the food and drinks are tasty, staff members are kind, very welcoming.The veggie breakfast made by Barnabas was lovely!
Service was absolutely brilliant, i had dinner with my family before leaving for university! I couldn’t of asked for a more friendly, and welcoming atmosphere! Our waiter- Adam, went above and beyond, to help and accommodate our gluten free requirements! And was also very friendly, kind, and helpful

We stayed one night here and the room was large enough and nicely decorated…probably more plug points than we have in our entire house! Breakfast was off the pubs brunch menu and gave a great choice of your classic meals. Excellent parking as well which was a big decision for us in choosing this
Great little place to stay. Handy bonus, theres a great pub/restaurant on site. Can’t fault the staff. Super friendly, rooms were well presented and comfortable and the choice of food and drink is excellent, would recommend.
Visit was last minute, got booking straight away over the phone. Amazing service from Ellie, great knowledge on wine, food was amazing compliments to chef, had the casserole and partner and ribeye. Will be back very soon, valentines we hope
Myself and my partner decided to try the roast dinner this evening at The Colney Fox.
Unfortunately they'd run out of Turkey by the time we arrived at the restaurant just before 5:30pm. Had the lamb instead which I did find to be quite chewy. Everything else on the plate was delicious! 👌.

The customer service and the food was incredible, as well as they way Ellie handled my allergies with care. I actually struggle to think about what you could improve on from my behalf. If I was to give one criticism it would only be the waiting time between sitting down and receiving drinks however
We have dined at Colney Fox for over 5 years and this is the best meal we have had! I believe they have really put focus and attention in making their ingredients/food and the results were excellent! Lovely atmosphere for an evening out. The food was superb, very high quality especially the pork belly. Our waitress Ellie recommended great cocktails and the service was great. Will be returning
One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Drinks service was originally very slow and glass turned up with lipstick on.
