Went for a quick late lunch on Saturday and was very impressed, the surroundings and decor were lovely and well designed, the service was pleasant and fast without being rushed from when we entered. The food was very nice, well seasoned and generous portions. My only small issue was that there were some small bones in the open chicken kebab even after checking with the waitress who told us that there wouldn't be, this was a bit disappointing but it wouldn't put me off returning.
It's a beautiful location, with a chilled vibe. The server was really helpful. We had the Turkish brunch feast and we chose to have halloumi option. It was very filling for 2 people we struggled. The cheese fondue was to die for it was definitely my favourite out of them all. Definitely good value for money. I also had a hot chocolate with oat milk and I was surprised how good it was! Definitely recommend 👌🏽 I would love to come back for the bottomless brunch.
Very yummy food and great choice of food as well. Service is super nice.
If you go on a weekend, it will be quite loud as there are normally a lot of guests. The reason to give 4 of 5 stars for food is just that portions could be a little bigger. But still very yummy food.
Went for an impromptu birthday late lunch and really enjoyed the food. The decor is lovely, we were sat in a little booth with fairy lights which was cute. Loved the options for cheese fondue and we went for the spicy one which was tasty, the bread that came with it was delicious. For mains we both had the lamb ‘posh kebab’ - so many amazing flavours and definitely looking forward to having it again next time! Baklava dessert was a nice way to finish, perfect size for sharing between 2 for just a light little sweet at the end.
Officially the new best brunch in St Albans. The Turkish theme is original and the food delicious!
This restaurant is a perfect place to bring your entire family! We were particularly impressed with the exceptionally friendly service. The modern Turkish breakfast, complete with a fresh selection of delightful cakes, was thoroughly enjoyable 🥰. I want to give a special thanks to Patricia, whose friendly and professional demeanor brought smiles to our faces. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful dinner here with my daughter, super attentive waiters and great food. The short rib was stunning. Ohh and a great Aperol Spritz 🙌🏻
This is our second time at Megan's and we love it. The decor is lovely, the food is delicious and the service great
Lovely to see that they offer vegan options, well done!
The waitresses got our coffee order wrong, and wasn’t sure which drink was with plant based milk.
The vegan breakfast was lovely, I did request more bread slices though. My partner wasn’t happy with the transparency of the menu, he didn’t realise there was a big charge for each individual halloumi cheese and something else.
Paying 55£ for a lunch meal for two was definitely over the price range you’d expect, especially for lunch.
Lemonade isn’t worth it, it seems very expensive for a low quality basic lemonade.
Decor indoors was very nice.
All in all, I’m not planning to return to this place unfortunately.
It's a really nice place. Love the evil eyes decor 🧿❤️ I had a lovely chicken Caesar salad the chicken had great flavour and we had some coffees which were good and my friend had a breakfast which she enjoyed. I would definitely go back.
Beautifully decorated restaurant located in the centre of St Albans shopping area. The service was prompt and the food was lovely, I had a small problem that my fries were not very hot and the waitress replaced them so issue sorted.
The restaurant was busy at lunchtime on a Saturday but not overly loud that I couldn't speak with my party.
I had the posh lamb kebab which was tasty but for the price it should be filled with lamb or the fries should come with it and not have to be paid for separately.
Overall, I enjoyed my meal...lamb kebab, frose cocktail and doughnuts for dessert, roughly £35
I would recommend but definitely not one of the cheaper lunch options.
The food here is so nice, but the service really isn’t great, had to keep calling over the waitress and every time we ask for something it felt like it was a hassle, but the decor & atmosphere is lovely. Would be 5 stars if the service improved
This is the second visit and I must say that the foods and drinks here are amazing. Staff are friendly, professional and very helpful too. Best to book beforehand though as its a very busy spot and well worth the visit. Highly recommended!!!
