Amrit Indian Restaurant - St. Albans - Photo album

Definitely the best indian restaurant in St Albans. We've been here multiple times and Moj has been always super kind and sweet. The general service they provide is also high end. The restaurant has nice modern atmosphere (no blue light or something like that). Last but not least, the food is very h
More like a list than a review. We haven't been before, but: Decor lovely Atmosphere lovely Young polite staff all lovely Service (see above) literally perfect. So attentive Food (prawn and lamb mains) - amazing. Vivid, not much oil, tasty. Poppadoms were super fresh too. Thanks boys - totally reco
Beautiful restaurant, immaculate and precisely layed out cutlery on the tables. Food, very tasty could not finish it all so took the leftovers home. Very quick service, exceptionally quick. I've waited 20 - 30 minutes plus for meals in other restaurants but roughly 10 minutes and voila. However back
Fantastic Indian! Wish I could take a picture before it was demolished, worth the long trek there and will be visiting again. Thank you for the great experience
My partner and I made the visit from High Barnet to come and visit Amrit's and we had a fantastic meal. The service was prompt and polite and the food was fresh and delicious. I ordered the Butter Chicken, which was not too sweet and perfectly balanced. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and is ni
So today, December 9, 2020, appears to be the first day of opening of this new restaurant. We were a great fan of Devdas and were sad to see it decline (in custom, not standard of food) in recent years. We wish this new restaurant every success and will visit very soon. Until then I shall give it
Seating a bit squashed, noisy tables either side , food was excellent although had to shout to order food and to order more drinks and ti ask for bill, waiter was really helpful with choosing the right mains , great price if we had space to move our arms when we ate would of been a 5*
Fresh clean bright and airy, this restaurant is a delight. The food tasted quite authentic. The service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely use this restaurant again. Definitely a good Indian food restaurant
Absolutely fantastic time in Amrit! The staff is very professional, this level of service would usually come from a lot more expensive place. The food was very tasty and delicious, with good portions. Shout-out to Monwar, he made the difference, the evening won't be forgotten for a while 😄
Excellent food. Service very good but lacked smiles! Only real down side was group of people next to me who were loud obnoxious and clearly the worse for effects of south American white powder
Having being introduced to this wonderful location by Abdul, we decided to have our New Years day meal at Amrit. What can I say, tremendous and welcoming service, being vegan is always a challenge however, after discussions with the head chef, we were able to ‘Come up’ with a new dish, ‘ Garlic Vega
Excellent and delicious food. The curry, masala were both amazing. The lamb was also extremely delicious.
My husband and I visited Amrit last Saturday evening, And we really enjoyed the evening. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Our waiter Aby was brilliant. Very attentive and always smiling. My only issue is that it’s was a tad expensive. I know it’s more of a restaurant than you
Excellent food but noisy and no real friendliness from staff. Recommend
Probably the best Indian restaurant in St Alban's. The food and restaurant were both really good. Only wish was that the rice portion was slightly bigger.
Top-drawer food and service from the fine people at Amrit. Dining in or takeaway they serve great food - tastes fresh and high quality. I've been on a restrictive diet and they have been really helpful in suggesting dishes I can eat. Highly recommended!
