Very nice restaurant.Clean Playing 70s pop music.Nice breakfast.Tatty scone was like cardboard. Presentation was good Service was fast. Only 1 staff member doing everything. Will recommend. £36 for 2 breakfasts and 2 cofees

We recently had a 2 hour private function for 46 people at Hatch immediately after our wedding ceremony. We had preordered 3 cocktail trees, a couple of buckets of beers, fruit juice and a glass of champagne and a separate cocktail for Bride and Groom. These were all on the tables ready for the guests’ arrival and staff greeted the guests as they arrived.
We were delayed getting to the venue but our drinks were ready at the bar for us, being closely guarded by Jasmine, the assistant manager, who was looking after us for the evening.
We had ordered 150 canapés and those were beginning to being served as we arrived and continued in waves for probably around an hour. The beef shin spring rolls and flatbread crisps were particular highlights, but all 6 types we ordered were great.
The bar service was efficient and guests had said cocktails they ordered were great.
Jasmine allowed us to order a meal for our photographer and portions of chips for the kids in our party which was much appreciated by all.
I wouldn’t hesitate to book Hatch again for a function of this size, and want to thank them for helping us make this the best day of our lives.

Stumbled across this lovely modern café whilst in St. Andrews and the food and service was exceptional. Prices for the quality of the food was excellent and we all ended up ordering a second meal 😋

Beautiful restaurant in St Andrew's. It was full to eat inside but they had space to eat outside. It was quite chilly but we had no choice. The food was nice. We had waffles, bacon, syrup and croissants. I personally didn't fully enjoy the waffles because it had lumps of sugar in them. I think it's a Scotland thing tbh. But the bacon and hot chocolate was good.
The waiter who attended to us was lovely. Also there's a 10% service charge so you won't be surprised like us as we didn't see it when we checked the menu but it was there.

Food and patio- great. Service was fast. I had to send back a cappuccino because it tasted like warm milk, they remade it and sent it back and it did taste better but still very weak. Otherwise 5 stars would have been given

Excellent meal post conference. Excellent vegan options and good service. Plates possibly larger than they needed to be in a 4 course meal, but that's a pretty good problem to have to be fair. Padron peppers not pictured, roasted baby pumpkin, corn ribs and a vegan Tonka bean custard.

We had a great lunch here. Instead of conventional main courses, they serve miniature plates that are great for sharing. The food was delicious, in particular the Ox Cheek, the Sole, and the Squash. My initial reaction looking at the menu was that the prices were quite steep, but by the time the bill came we were pleasantly surprised; it was pretty good value. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The decor is nice and modern inside, and there is some outdoor seating out front too. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner, or just drinks outside.
