One of my favourite bookshops in the world and it's a 30,000 km round trip for me, but well worth it. The best books and great coffee. Thoroughly recommended.

We brought friends to the cafe/shop yesterday. We all loved it. Delicious food eaten. Books purchased. Event tickets booked. Cheese sampled and bought. A good time was had by all. See you again on Friday!

One of the Borders' hidden gems - and what a gem it is. Not just a bookshop but a cafe and deli as well. My main purpose for visiting today was to buy books, but I'll certainly be back for both book and cafe purposes!

A sophisticated, tasteful, and welcoming bookstore with serious books, beautiful books, and a cute and caring space for children to learn to love books. Great coffee, nice staff, and a charming setting---could not be better.

Wonderful bookshop, café, deli and eclectic gift/yesteryear shop. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A "I'll pop-in for 10 minutes," can last an amazing two hours. We visit every time we are in the Borders region.

I grew up in the village....if only I lived there now, I'd never be out of the bookshop! I pop in whenever I'm home. Yesterday's coup was John Simpson, an absolute hero of mine and I happened to be up visiting. Yet another great event. Well done!

Had the most amazing salad with home made gluten free flat bread. It was so lovely and it was great to feel properly catered for as a coeliac. Was a four hour drive but so worth it!

A must stop if you're in the Borders. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, great books (with reading nooks for kids) and behind the bookstore/cafe is a local foods and crafts shop with an amazing selection. Highly recommend.

What a lovely little book shop - am amazing variety of books and really helpful staff. I spoke to one student volunteer who have me lots of interesting recommendations, and led to me spending an unintended £25! This book will keep me going for a whole year 😊

A gem based in the heart of St Boswells. One of my families favourite destinations for great food, and cakes. The selection of books is second to none.

One of the best bookshops anywhere, what's most surprising is that it's located in an unassuming Scottish village. Great selection of books, wonderful building, good food and tea. What's not to like about this place. They also do lots of signings with famous authors.
