Port And Starboard

We called in last night for a early supper with the kids. The portion size was good even the smaller plates were more than enough. The additional side in the meal deal was a great idea... The restaurant was quiet mid week, speaking with the server, she said this normal and with the heavy rain last night I can understand probably less than normal came in. Staff were great and friendly, little more knowledge training about the menu would help 😉.

Absolutely excellent service, We come to Cornwall every year, and stop just up the road from here. Every single meal without fail is on par with places local to me (in Yorkshire) and may even give some of the places in Scarborough and Whitby a run for their money. Always cooked and seasoned to your liking, every single meal is perfect every single time. I can only imagine that anyone who thinks differently just doesn't know how food is meant to be cooked. Friendly staff, great food. Also, this year, We had to order 1 gluten-free portion. Again, not a problem. All ready at the same time, but GF cooked and bagged separately, as it should be. We will continue to come to this fantastic fish and chip place, for as long as we continue to have our holidays in Cornwall.
