Review Scrummy Yummy Cakehole - St Columb Major

This lady makes the most fantastic celebration cakes. When our friend moved north we didn't think we would ever have a decent cake again but hey presto, this lady has that magic touch. From sponges for a 7yr old to fruit cakes for a 94yr old! Really reasonably priced and far tastier than you'd ever believe. Very highly recommended.

We have had many cakes from yummy cakehole and there have all been amazing, but the best one was my brothers sloth cake, the amount of detill and thought that went into it must of took a lot of patience and skills. Julie goes above and beyond for her customers and nothing is too much to ask for! Would highy recommend to everyone xx

My husband purchased a cake from here for my baby shower... Leaving the Baker with a design he wanted. When collecting the cake it looked nothing like the cake he had requested and looked more like something for Halloween. When he stated he wasn't happy with the cake... Her exact words where 'well there is nothing I can do about it now, take the cake or have your money back' He took the cake as he had 24 hours until the party. Luckily we managed to get another cake done from a family member (who isn't a cake Baker... But her cake was 100 times better!) Unfortunately the review won't let me add a photos but it was just awful! We thought we would cut the cake from scrummy yummy cakehole and serve it up all ready cut at the party.... But it was hard and stodgy... Not the way a cake should be at all!! I would not recommend this place at all. Not only Should they not take on a cake they cannot achieve... But the rudeness and shear lack of care for their customers was disgusting!!!

I took my son in today and we enjoyed a lovely slice of cake which was better than Daddy's � the service is fab and it would be a great place to take little ones as it also has a little play area. Great little local business

50th Birthday Cake ordered from the Scrummy Yummy Cakehole. Not only was the decoration brilliant but the chocolate cake inside was moist and so rich it was awesome. Thank you so much for all your excellent skills.

Amazing cakes and coffee. Amazing service. A must visit. Prices really good.

Went with a group of friends and had afternoon tea. Yummy scones and cupcakes and plenty of tea and coffee. Lovely selection of cards ( reasonably priced too !). Play area for the little ones and a cosy corner for a quiet cuppa. Definitely will come again.
