I think with Beefeater they are the same as Brewers Fayre, both owned up the premier inn so they have the same menu. The breakfasts in the morning are great and I cannot fault that. The dinner menus are very expensive though, I got the mixed grill and you don't get a lot for what you pay, a pint of Carling was £4.30 so £2 more than usual. There was only one telly on in the entire place and it were right near the entrance in the corner. There wasn't much going on in there at night, pretty quiet, I would give this place a 5 Star Review but the Mixed Grill was a let down.

Slow. Very slow on greeting and seating you. Quick on taking your drinks order, Slow on your drinks being served. Declan who took our food order is brilliant. Advised us and had a laugh and actually made polite, fun conversation about our day, Brilliant. We ordered from the 3 course cheapskates menu for £18.45 each. Had garlic flatbread and cheesy potato skins for starters. Steaks, Sirloin and Rump, came out cooked to perfection and the chunky chips hot, crunchy outside fluffy inside. Apple pie and custard, Hot and yummy. Great meal will come again. 😋 Thanks Declan and to the chefs

The food was very good and much better than I expected, however, the best part was the service, it was outstanding and they put a lot of detail into their allergy protection which is important as two people in our family have serious allergy issues. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with similar issues or just looking for a nice meal.

Popped in here for breakfast this morning. My husband and I were greeted by welcoming smiling staff. Breakfast had a fantastic variety of continental and cooked options, we couldn’t fault a thing. We will most definitely be returning here the next time we are in the area, to try an evening meal.

We visited at lunchtime.for a family birthday 🎂 the staff were amazing, they made my husband's birthday extra special, giving him an unexpected little gift and didn't leave our 2 young Grandson's out, they were also given a treat. The food was well cooked and presented nicely. I would also like to recommend their breakfast all you can eat and young children eat free, Many thanks.

Nice pub, nice food, good service. Came here for nephews Birthday only downside was as we were a big group food came out a bit slow the first people had finished before the last had been served. Other than that the food was nice and the service was good.

Had a lovely time. We had a party of 13 people, adults, children & a baby. We were able to share one table. Our waitress was amazing, kept us all topped up with drinks, served all the food together & it was all exactly as we ordered it. She was very understanding and patient with us all especially my autistic son. Highly recommended 👌

Today me and my partner visited here, lovely atmosphere and great staff. Food was nice and i will defiantly be recommending this place to people! atmosphere is perfect and relaxing. We were served by a lovely women, unfortunately i cannot remember her name. The only description i can think to give is she had blonde hair and glasses. She really did go above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable! Ive never seen someone working so hard yet still remain so happy and pleasant to the customers. she really was doing a million jobs at once!

Went for the all you can eat breakfast, and the food was lovely. Great choice and fresh. There didn't seem to be much staff around, and it did get busy. I like that you order the hot food and they bring it to you as apose to it being left out for you to help yourself. F.Y.I, you can still choose anything or as much as you want. Also, they have tea, coffee, fruit juices, fruit, cereal, crumpets, pancakes, toast, and more, all included in the £10 price. My one main criticism is a few items of cutlery at our table was dirty and not properly cleaned. Other than this, I would recommend it.

Visited the mickle head for a family birthday meal. We were easily able to book a reservation for a party of 9. The family all arrived at different times and were directed to the table. There is a very large carpark located outside including disabled parking spots. There is also a beer garden located outside, this will be lovely for the summer time. The staff were so friendly and happy to help us. One member even say down with our family whilst taking the food order. They were willing to laugh with us too. There is a large variety to choose from on the menu including some vegan options. The food was absolutely lovely once it arrived. I will definitely be visiting again in the future!

Visited on a Saturday lunchtime and even though it wasn't busy we had a but of a wait for service, not waiting on food but waiting for staff to take order, bring drinks, asked if we want dessert. Menu could be better with choices, no option for sandwiches or baguette or jacket potatoes at lunch time. Just big large meals. Other than that, all good.

Women that greeted us and served us most of the time was maybe waiting for her shift to finish and seemed off it abit but the young man that was on and took over was great and very friendly, food was good and hot so no complaints there, just glad I had a discount voucher as it might have been a bit pricey to be honest.
