The Abbey - St Helens - Photo album

I’ve been excited to try the new menu and was chuffed when I could book a table at short notice. Small plates were really tasty and my husband enjoyed old faithful gammon, chips and eggs. We both passed comment on how lovely the atmosphere was - especially on a Wednesday night. Our waitress, Emily w
Excellent food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Also dog friendly👍🏽
Just had a cracking breakfast, better than just pub grub, friendly staff and nice gaff, not overpriced either 😊
We popped in during our weekend in Liverpool to have lunch. Superb service good selection of drinks and a menu to suit all. We were so impressed we went back for dinner and to match the Arsenal game.
Good gluten food and that isn't common for a pub. Part of the place is dog friendly which we found handy. There was sports on the TV which isn't for me but I appreciate many people enjoy.
Lovely traditional pub with local photographs on the wall and a nice welcoming atmosphere. Two nice outdoor areas complement the indoor space. We didn't eat here but the menu looks good and varied.
Went with a couple of friends for tea. Food was lovely, both me and one friend got the garlic cheese baguette starter, was hot and very enjoyable, my other friend got the halloumi bites and she said they were very good. They both got the cheese and onion pie with chunky chips, I got the tikka masala
Booked a table for a large group, staff so accommodating and place lovely. Bar staff so nice and polite, food was delightful. Would definitely recommend, will be eating there again that's for sure..
Food was great ,good size portions nice and hot , didn't have to wait long .Felt very comfortable in my surroundings and all the staff friendly. Will be returning to try some more of the menu.
My favourite pub. Good for food, drinks and watching sport. Good outside area to drink and most under cover. Dogs are welcome
Lovely food and very friendly staff - Emily our server was excellent

First time visiting very nice place very attentive and efficient young lady at the bar very chatty and welcoming food was really nice and also hot can't fault it
Excellent food again, I even tried the garlic and Stilton mushrooms (I've never liked Stilton!) They were lovely, as my F-i-L also said (another Stilton disliker) Starters and mains, all unfaulted from a table of 5. My daughter was disappointed there was no sticky toffee pudding left but I suppose t
