The owner is very friendly and helpful. They food is good, portions are adequate. It was very quiet when I was there, the owner said that since covid business has been much quieter. Pity, it’s a nice place run by a really nice man.
Service was great! I was delayed in getting back for my order so the remade my dumplings. Everything was perfect. The Paneer dish and the Tandoori chicken was just wonderful.
I've been coming for 30 years. The food never ever lets you down. Cooked hot and fresh Owner is a great guy always friendly and chatty Longest lasting curry house in st Helens, yes there are bigger and posher decor but as far as food goes you won't find better in st Helens

Doing this review as I'm actually sat in the restaurant eating now... Well... What can I say.. Couldnt get a seat at ba'bursi for 2 people!!! So thought we would give tandoori ghar a try. Never been here before and can't get my head around why. It's the most nicest Indian food I've ever tasted with
