I mean it is a coffee shop,
Food, what food? I mean you don't go to Costa to eat so I can recommend the coffee that is good, overpriced but good. The service is great and always with a smile. If you like coffee you will love costa.
The cakes are not as good and don't always seem fresh, but hey, you go there for the coffee so the cake if it happens to be delicious is a bonus. The staff are always nice, the service is pretty fast and not a bad place to spend your afternoon with a full view of the cathedral in the center of St. Helens shopping area.

Love the hot chocolate here, the only down side is the food is a bit pricey and the staff are very slow at cleaning the tables.

This is a great place for a coffee & maybe a bite & to relax at that end of town. It was bigger than I expected, but it's a pleasant, inviting coffee shop.
