Paid a visit to the Golden Chef at the weekend, this is the second time we have been since the new owners took over. The food was spot on again and there was plenty people dining. Everyone seemed to be complimentary about both the food and the service. Jenny has returned looking after front of house. We will be returning in the near future.

I was going the yang xing for over 9yrs regularly , and this was my first visit since changing hands to golden chef , 1st of all my grandkids hate every chinese except this 1 so I'll go with there review they loved it , nice welcome and still friendly starters where great ,the mains had changed slightly , but still nice I'll deffo be going back grandkids wont let me eat anywhere else give it a go its no yang xing but it'll get there believe me 😁😁😁

Visited last Thursday for the first time since the new owners took over. Unlike the previous poster, I found the food was as good as ever. In fact the hot and sour soup was the best I have ever had! Staff were delightful, and also lovely to see the previous owner, Jenny, back working in the restaurant. Will definitely be returning.
